Reasons for the importance of proper plumbing in buildings
The principles of plumbing in the building
The plumbing system of the building is very important because it has the task of supplying the water needed for consumption in the kitchen, bathroom and toilet, as well as the disposal of waste water, and it is recommended to do it properly because in If there is a need to repair or re-pipe, installation operations must be performed. Implementing this requires the destruction of a part of the building, which is not only unpleasant for the residents, but the appearance of the house also loses its beauty, and it also costs a lot, so it can be said that the plumbing in the building is one of the other systems such as The wiring system of electricity, telephone or... is more important.
If we can't do the plumbing properly, it may be due to damage inside the pipe or even a small leak with many problems such as damage to different parts of the building, internal facilities of the building and most importantly the destruction of the foundation of the building and in As a result, we will witness the reduction of the life expectancy of the house and its insecurity for life.
The steps of the correct plumbing of the building
The first step in building plumbing is to prepare an engineered plan and then execute it accurately and correctly, but the next steps largely depend on the type of pipe used. Let's choose the type and size of which depends on the amount of water consumed and the amount of water pressure.
After choosing the pipe model, the plumbing of the building starts and according to the needs of each unit of the building, piping is done. This process usually starts from the bottom of the building and in The higher floors continue until the end.
After completing the plumbing of each unit, the main pipes are covered with caps and the same work is repeated for the units of other floors, and at the end of the work, the pipes of the units are connected to each other with the help of fittings.
In the final stages, water is introduced into the pipes and in this way they are tested so that there are no problems in the future. Basically, this work is accompanied by aeration so that the water flows completely in the pipes.
At the end, another test is done to make sure that the work is correct.
The principles of plumbing in the building
According to the reasons that we mentioned at the beginning of the article, we realized the high importance of correct and basic plumbing in the building, and now that we have become familiar with the steps of doing this work, we will continue to mention important and vital points. We will pay for building plumbing as best as possible:
Care of a plumbing system against sunlight:
According to the building piping standard, polymer pipes should not be exposed to direct sunlight, so if piping is being done in open places, these pipes should be protected from sunlight using an insulating cover. It can be done, otherwise the pipes will be damaged and may even be destroyed.
Care of the Cold Plip System:
In winter, we should also be careful about buried pipes. It is mandatory to take care of the pipes that are not covered in materials against freezing or bursting, so salt water with a certain concentration should be used after the implementation of the building's plumbing system to perform relevant tests, so that if the water in parts of the pipe It remains to reduce the possibility of freezing. Of course, when the equipment is installed, this salt water is removed from the system. Insulating pipes with suitable materials is also a good solution to prevent possible damage from the cold.
Tube depth:
When placing the pipes in the ground, it should be noted that the piping should not be too shallow or too deep. If the pipe is placed on the surface in a normal pit, it will require high care and we may even see the ground subsidence when heavy vehicles pass over it, which is considered a serious damage. On the other hand, it is not suitable to place the pipe at a great depth because it will be damaged by the pressure of the soil, and in this case it will be difficult to repair it.
Pay attention to the speed of water:
Another important point about building plumbing, which is very important, is the rate of water speed. If the water flow rate in this system is not adjusted, i.e. it is too high or too low, a lot of water will be wasted and the building's water equipment may not work properly. To reduce the effect of ram impact in piping, the water flow speed should be controlled, but the reduction of the water flow speed in the pipes should be to such an extent that the increase in the diameter of the pipes does not increase the costs.
